Summary

LastPass allows you to both share passwords with others, and to receive passwords shared by others. You can share one password or note, or share an entire folder of items.

An administrator or co-worker may opt to share with you an individual password or a folder with multiple passwords. In this case, you may or may not have permission to view the passwords, but when you log in to the website you will have a seamless experience logging in.
When you decide to share a password or folder with someone else, you will have the option to allow them to view the actual password or just be able to log in with it.
  • To share an item, open your Vault and search for the item. Hover over the item and select the Sharing button, then enter the email address of your recipient.
  • To share multiple items with one or more people, create a folder and share the entire folder with your recipients by right-clicking on the folder name.
  • To add more items to a shared folder, anyone with administrator access to the folder can drag and drop items into the folder.
  • To manage shared folders, open the Sharing Center from the left-hand navigation bar in the Vault.
