When registering for a new website, click the LastPass icon in the password field to open the password generator. You can even customize the length and characters in the new password.

Once you're satisfied, click the "Fill it" button and LastPass will enter the newly-generated password for you. Save your new credentials to your LastPass Vault. Then, the next time you log in to that website, LastPass will be ready to fill your username and generated password for you.
